Our Training Program
An extensive continuing professional education program has been developed by the Division.
- Most training is conducted in our well-equipped and centrally located training room.
- We are pleased to offer a number of topics drawing on the specialist expertise of our local public hospitals and other local agencies and experts.
- Our Drug and Alcohol, Mental Health Home Medicines Review and other specialist programs run regular quality training:
for example our monthly sessions (first Wednesday) on medications, for pharmacists and GPs.
- Continuing professional education now includes practice staff, and nurses as well as GPs.
- The Division is recognised as an Accredited Provider by the GPs' accrediting body, the RACGP.
