Our Training Program

An extensive continuing professional education program has been developed by the Division.

  • Most training is conducted in our well-equipped and centrally located training room.
  • We are pleased to offer a number of topics drawing on the specialist expertise of our local public hospitals and other local agencies and experts.
  • Our Drug and Alcohol, Mental Health Home Medicines Review and other specialist programs run regular quality training:
for example our monthly sessions (first Wednesday) on medications, for pharmacists and GPs.
  • Continuing professional education now includes practice staff, and nurses as well as GPs.
  • The Division is recognised as an Accredited Provider by the GPs' accrediting body, the RACGP.

For more information about CPD training at the Division contact Annette.
